The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is the perfect pet for a family. They are an active, graceful, well-balanced toy spaniel, fearless and sporting in character, yet at the same time gentle and affectionate. The characteristic wagging of their tail, sweet expression and dark round lusterous eyes hold the power to extract constant petting and unlimited supplies of food from people under their spell.

They are very much an inside dog and pad through the house on slippered paws, always following in the footsteps of their owners. With a Cavalier in residence, you'll never be alone...... not even in the bathroom.

Their size and generally quiet nature makes a Cavalier King Charles Spaniels a good candidates for apartment or condo living. They are moderately active indoors, and a small yard is adequate for their exercise needs.

They interact well with children and spread their love around all members of the family equally and are most content when sitting on some one's lap.
